2021 ASA Spring Program

ASA has built a reputation around fundamentals and advanced skill development in youth players.  Our Spring program will follow the current state and county guidelines, we will focus on individual instruction and skill work in small groups.  We are excited to get to work and do what we do best, which is develop players through repetition and great habits in our practice sessions!

Program Details 

  • Mondays and Fridays at the Ultimate Fieldhouse in Walnut Creek
  • March 1 through May 21
  • Cost: $595
  • Practices range from 4:30 – 7:30 PM (1 hour practices, times determined at the close of registration)

Guidelines followed:

  • One player per basket (unless same household)
  • Absolutely no shared equipment, coaches and players don’t pass, rebound, each player uses one ball the entire workout
  • Players will wear masks in and out of the gym and throughout the workout
  • Coaches will be masked at all times
  • 10 Players per court (5 hoops with a player shooting on each, 5 players dribbling)
  • Limited space due to keeping the groups small, the program will fill up quick

*The Ultimate Fieldhouse has taken great strides to follow state and county guidelines, with player safety being the number one focus.  The facility is regularly sanitized and cleaned, they have worked hand in hand with their partner Muir Health to ensure the environment is as safe as possible.

Spring Program Quick Facts:

  • 2nd-8th Grade
  • Practices are Mondays and Fridays
  • Practices will be led by Frank Allocco, Jr. and the ASA staff, please read about our coaches here
  • Players will be challenged in a “workout environment”, with fast-paced skill building drills
  • Practices take place at the Ultimate Fieldhouse in Walnut Creek 
  • Emphasis on skill development and individual improvement on the Offensive end of the floor
