East Bay Prime AAU Youth Basketball

We are excited to announce that East Bay Machine will become part of the Prime family in March, forming the foundation of the newly minted East Bay Prime program! Our programs have always been linked through a mutual respect for each other and our belief that youth basketball is about long-term skill development, great habits, and developing life skills off the court.  Jose Rivera, who spent his Middle School years in our program and played for Coach Allocco, Jr. in High School, will direct East Bay Prime along with Coach Allocco and the Prime and former East Bay Machine staff.  Prime has earned a reputation throughout the west coast for our relentless focus on skill development and playing hard, these standards will be maintained and even heightened with East Bay Prime.

We are excited for such a talented community of players to have the opportunity to be a part of our program, and we can’t wait to get started!!!

WHAT THE DIRECTORS HAD TO SAY

“I am so excited to extend our program to a community filled with passionate young players. We will lay a foundation of fundamentals and SKILL, intense man-to-man defense, and a fast and downhill style of play. East Bay Prime will maintain the standard of excellence our Walnut Creek program has set and is reputable for throughout the west coast. I can’t wait to get started!”

– Frank Allocco, Jr. – Director of Prime Basketball

“I have always had admiration for the extremely positive effect that Coach Frank Allocco Jr. and the Prime family have had on local basketball players’ lives, including my own as a former player in his program. I am excited to extend our program and lay a foundation of intense skill development and passion in young players. I believe the alliance of our two programs will truly give our players the opportunity to play to the peak of their potential, as we take the best of both programs and merge them together. I am eager for our players to be part of a special program that they can take great pride in, and I can’t wait to get to work!”

– Jose Rivera, Director of East Bay Machine
