ASA Spring Program
With players coming from all over the East Bay to be a part of ASA Basketball, we are excited to extend our program to San Ramon and it’s neighboring communities. With our emphasis on high quality practice sessions, skill development, man-to-man defense, and establishing GREAT habits, players will improve and learn what it takes to be a better player. ASA has built a reputation on refusing to sacrifice long term improvement to “win now”, and players in the San Ramon and Walnut Creek are will continue to benefit! See below for some quick facts about the program, and we’ll see you on the court!
Walnut Creek Spring Program Details:
- Directed by Coach Ron Pangilinan
- Practice on Monday and Fridays at the Ultimate Fieldhouse, March-May
- Games in the MVP League
San Ramon Spring Program Details:
- Directed by Coach Frank Allocco, Jr.
- Practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Iron Horse Middle School, March-May
- Games in the MVP League
Spring Program Quick Facts:
- 2nd-8th Grade Boys (in Spring of 2020)
- Incredibly experienced staff – read about our coaches here
- Players are separated by grade and skill level
- Practices take place at the Ultimate Fieldhouse in Walnut Creek and Iron Horse Middle School in San Ramon
- 8 games with playoffs if applicable
- Program runs 3 months, March-May
- Small group instruction, great player to coach ratio
- Emphasis on skill development and individual improvement

Practice times could change slightly depending on registration. If we get more at one grade level than another, we sometimes have to move things around to keep our practices small for the best learning environment. The days of the week would not change, only the times.
